Wrapping up our Meet the Team series, we’re excited to introduce Fatin Noureddin, one of our dedicated Dental Assistants and Administrative Team Members at Aldershot Village Dental!

Born and raised in Colombia, Fatin grew up in a loving family that taught her the importance of kindness, respect, and strong values. With her Colombian roots and Lebanese heritage, she brings a beautiful blend of cultures and experiences to our team.

With a background in dentistry and 16 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, Fatin has worked in Colombia, Chile, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. Her international experience has given her extensive clinical knowledge and a strong passion for patient care.

For Fatin, dentistry is about more than creating beautiful smiles. It’s about building meaningful connections, helping patients feel confident, and making a positive difference in their lives. She believes that compassion, communication, and attention to detail are essential to excellent patient care.

Today, Fatin continues her professional journey in Canada, supporting both clinical and administrative operations, including treatment planning, Invisalign, cosmetic cases, and patient care. She values teamwork, sharing knowledge, and continuous learning.

Outside the clinic, Fatin is a proud mom of two boys who enjoys painting, art, nature, and sports. She believes art and dentistry share something special: both require creativity, precision, patience, and passion. 🎨

Originally from the Philippines, Jen is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) graduate with 8 years of dental assisting experience in Kuwait. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive clinical experience, particularly in assisting with endodontic procedures and endodontic surgery, developing valuable skills and a strong foundation in patient care.

For Jen, dental assisting is about more than supporting dental procedures. It’s about making patients feel comfortable, reassured, and cared for throughout their visits. Naturally shy and soft-spoken, she believes that even the smallest gestures of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s experience.

One of the qualities that defines Jen is her gentle and thoughtful approach to patient care. Whether she’s offering reassurance to a nervous patient, listening to their concerns, or supporting the dental team, she takes pride in contributing to a positive and welcoming environment.

Outside the clinic, Jen enjoys exploring different cuisines and discovering new cultures. She loves trying new foods, learning about different traditions, and appreciating the unique experiences that come with exploring the world around her. 🌎

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we’re excited to introduce Ederlyn, another wonderful member of our Aldershot Village Dental family! 🦷

Originally from the Philippines, Eddie is a Registered Nurse by profession whose healthcare journey has taken her across different countries, bringing valuable experiences, lifelong friendships, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Her career began in Libya, where she started working as a nurse with big dreams and aspirations. When war broke out, she returned to the Philippines before eventually moving to Kuwait, where she worked as both a dermatology nurse and a dental nurse. These experiences helped shape her resilience, adaptability, and passion for caring for others.

One of the most meaningful parts of her journey has been the friendships she built along the way. While working in Kuwait, she met Jaz and Jen, two friends who have remained close despite life’s many changes. Years later, their paths brought them together again in Canada, a reminder that some friendships truly stand the test of time! ❤️

Outside the clinic, Ederlyn’s greatest joy is being a mom to her daughter, Riley, whom she describes as smart, responsible, and her biggest source of pride and inspiration. As a working mom, she strives to balance her career and family while building a meaningful future for them both.

What makes Ederlyn’s story special is her determination to embrace life’s unexpected turns. From Libya to Kuwait and now Canada, every chapter has taught her the importance of perseverance, gratitude, and appreciating the people who stand beside us.

With her diverse healthcare background, caring nature, and inspiring journey, Eddie brings valuable experience and a wonderful perspective to our team.

Originally from the Philippines, Jazelyn is a nurse by profession whose passion for healthcare led her to pursue a career in dentistry. Her nursing background has given her a strong foundation in patient care, compassion, and attention to detail.

Before moving to Canada, Jazelyn spent eight years working as a dental assistant in Kuwait, including four years in a specialized clinic assisting a prosthodontist. This experience allowed her to develop valuable clinical skills and extensive knowledge of restorative and prosthodontic dentistry. She has now been part of the Aldershot Village Dental family for almost four years!

For Jazelyn, dental assisting is about more than supporting dental procedures. She values making patients feel comfortable, easing their concerns, and contributing to a positive experience throughout their visits. She believes that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.

One of the things that defines Jazelyn is her caring nature and dedication to helping others. She takes pride in being part of a team that works together to improve patients’ oral health and confidence in their smiles.

Outside the clinic, Jazelyn is a proud mom to her son, Zoan, who is her greatest source of love and inspiration. She enjoys spending quality time with him, exploring new places, trying new experiences, and creating special memories together.

Jazelyn also loves cooking and preparing delicious meals for her family. After a busy day, she enjoys relaxing with movies and documentaries, making the most of her downtime.

With four years of experience in administration and a background in dental hygiene, Shayma brings a combination of clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and a passion for patient care and practice management.

What makes Shayma’s role special is her ability to see dentistry from two perspectives. As a dental hygienist, she values building relationships with patients, educating them about their oral health, and helping them feel comfortable and confident. As an Assistant Practice Manager, she focuses on improving daily operations, supporting the team, and creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

One of the things that defines Shayma most is her commitment to growth and improvement. She believes there’s always something new to learn and an opportunity to make a positive difference. She values teamwork, communication, accountability, and helping those around her reach their potential.

For Shayma, success goes beyond professional achievements. She believes meaningful work comes from making a lasting impact, whether through improving a patient’s experience, supporting a colleague, or contributing to the practice’s growth.

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we’re excited to introduce Carmen, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists at Aldershot Village Dental! 🦷

Originally from the Philippines, Carmen completed a BSCE program before moving to Canada with her family. She also pursued her interest in the arts at OCAD University in Toronto, reflecting a creative side that continues to be an important part of her life.

Carmen began her career in dental hygiene in 2010, and it has been her professional home ever since. With over 15 years of experience, she considers dental hygiene one of the most rewarding professions. For Carmen, being a hygienist is more than just a career; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s oral health and well-being.

Outside the clinic, Carmen is a proud mother of two daughters, Kim and Brooklyn, whom she also considers her best friends. Family and friendships hold a special place in her life, and she loves spending quality time with the people closest to her.

Creativity is another big part of who Carmen is. She enjoys painting with acrylics, attending concerts, camping, watching movies, and exploring charming small towns. She especially loves getting together with friends, where there’s always good food, karaoke, and plenty of laughter!

Carmen also has a curious and thoughtful side. She enjoys watching documentaries, particularly those exploring true crime, cults, and forensic investigations. Although she doesn’t consider herself much of a reader, philosophy is her genre of choice whenever she picks up a book.

And while travelling by plane or boat isn’t her favourite because of motion sickness, she still enjoys discovering new places, especially through local adventures and the occasional train ride.

With her years of experience, artistic interests, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, Carmen brings a wonderful combination of knowledge, creativity, and personality to our team.
