🦷 Your Dental Hygiene Appointment Is About More Than Just a Cleaning! ✨

Regular dental hygiene appointments play an important role in maintaining a healthy smile. Professional cleanings help remove plaque and tartar buildup, prevent gum disease, and keep your teeth and gums healthy.
But did you know that every appointment with me also includes an oral cancer screening? 💗
Oral cancer screenings allow me to examine the soft tissues of your mouth for any unusual changes, sores, or abnormalities that may need further assessment.
Early detection is important, and routine screenings are one more way we can be proactive about your overall oral health.

Your smile deserves more than just a cleaning — it deserves attentive, preventative care!
📅 Keep up with your regular hygiene visits and let’s keep those smiles healthy!

Braces can create extra spaces where plaque and food love to hide—making regular dental cleanings and great oral hygiene more important than ever! 🦷✨
Keeping your teeth and gums healthy during orthodontic treatment helps prevent cavities, staining, gum inflammation, and demineralization (those white spots seen in the photo, that can form on teeth when plaque sits too long).
Brush thoroughly, floss daily, and don’t skip your hygiene visits—Shimmering Smiles is here to help keep your smile healthy every step of the way! 💙 🦷 💫
