The COVID-19 pandemic has made it harder for some Ontarians to take care of their dental health. Your dentist would like to see you again – and your safety is their priority.

Dentists are using their training as infection prevention and control experts to help keep dental offices safe during the pandemic. That means even more safety measures than before, such as extra personal protective equipment (PPE), changes to waiting rooms, advanced screenings, and touchless thermometers.

Dental problems are easier and less expensive to treat before you can see or feel them, which is why it’s important to resume your regular appointments so that your dentist can catch any problems early. Dear Patients,

Due to the State of Emergency regarding COVID-19, the well-being of our patients, staff and community is our top priority.

Our office will NOT provide routine/ non-urgent care services as of Monday, March 16th, 2020.

We will re-evaluate this closure in early April 2020 as more information unfolds from the Center of Disease Control and the World Health Organization aswell as the Royal college of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO)

During this time we will keep you informed through our page.

If you are currently scheduled during this time, our staff will be reaching out to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

If any true dental emergencies (defined by RCDSO as oral facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding or pain, which cannot be managed by over the counter medications) arise, we will do our best to assess the situation via email ([email protected]) first, and make pharmacological arrangements based on each individual situation.

We are watching closely as the global situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. I wanted to reach out to you personally to let you know what we’re doing to manage and combat this or any other virus.

The health and safety of our Patients and Teammates continues to be our highest priority

Our offices have ALWAYS been following Universal Precautions standard infection prevention and control protocols for sanitizing the treatment operatories. In addition, we have implemented a plan to disinfect public areas in the dental office regularly throughout the day. This includes door handles, counters, desks, tables, and chairs.

Rest assured, your safety, as well as ours, is our main concern.
