🌿💙 Meet Kara! 💙🌿

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Kara, you know she is one of the kindest, most bubbly people you could meet! 😊

Kara lives on the North Mountain with her husband, Jason, and their dog, Oakley. When she’s not at AppleTown Dental, you’ll often find her enjoying the simple things in life: gardening, side by side drives, sitting on her porch, listening to the birds, and taking in all the beauty of nature.

One of Kara’s favourite parts of her day is seeing all the kiddos who come through our office! She especially loves the pictures they colour for her… and we’re pretty sure her collection is growing by the day! 🖍️

Kara has also taken on the tough and incredibly important role of AppleTown Dental’s Hygiene Coordinator. With the province-wide shortage of dental hygienists, keeping our hygiene schedule running smoothly is no small task! We are incredibly thankful for Kara, her dedication, her patience, and all the hard work she puts in every day to help keep things moving.

We are so lucky to have Kara as part of our AppleTown Dental family! 🥰

In saying that, Kara would like to start a monthly colouring contest!

There are so many creative masterpieces that we just can’t pick only one… so we’re going to let luck decide! 🎉

Here’s how to enter:

- Each child can colour our picture of the month, so they’re all the same, and bring it to the reception desk before or after their appointment.

-Be sure to include the child’s FIRST AND LAST NAME and AGE!

- At the end of the month, we’ll do a random draw for a winner!

We can’t wait to see all your colourful creations!

Have you renewed your CDCP coverage?

We’ve had several patients arrive for their appointments only to find that their coverage had not been renewed. Unfortunately, this means they were responsible for the full cost of their visit.

If you’re unsure of your renewal status, we encourage you to check your coverage before your appointment to help avoid any unexpected expenses. 😊

🗓️ Were you enrolled in the before April 14, 2026?

If you forgot to renew and your coverage ended on June 30, 2026, you can still apply to be a plan member 🦷🪥

Traffic Notice – Commercial Street Paving

Please be advised that paving work will take place on Commercial Street this Wednesday and Thursday. During this time, Commercial Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Grandview Manor to Orchard Street. Motorists may experience delays and are encouraged to use an alternate route whenever possible.
