This week marks a new beginning for me at BDC. The end of an era, if you will.

Though I’m so excited for Sam to be moving on to another job that takes her closer to home and her family, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to miss my ride-or-die like crazy.

I have spent the last 13 years (I’ll remove one year for her mat leave 😉) literally in this girl’s personal space. There was only one time that she had to eat her lunch in her car to get a break from me, and we only had one real fight - when the AC broke in the summertime and tempers were rising just like the temperature in that office.

You’re not just a co-worker; the relationship we’ve built goes far beyond that. From trips to Vegas, Dexter Day’s rallies, getting piercings, donating blood, raising hell on vineyard tours, concerts, gender reveals, weddings, the birth of soooo many babies, power outages, equipment breakdowns, and my personal breakdowns, this girl has always had my back.

Thank you for your loyalty and friendship. Thank you for all of the yarns and belly laughs.

I will miss hanging with you every workday, and I know the entire staff and patient family will miss you too.

This weekend Team BDC traded dental tools for golf clubs!
For some it was birdies and pars, and for others it was more about perfecting their divots than their drives.
A big thank you to Faith for organizing such a fun event and for having the patience to coach those of us who found more air and turf than golf ball!
We can’t wait to see where our next team adventure takes us!
