It’s honestly crazy how much more there is to TMD than I ever realized. This reel only shows a small glimpse of the appointment — there were so many more specifics Dr. Rawson educated me on, plus different tests and assessments he did to better understand what’s actually causing my symptoms.

🦷 CDCP Renewals Are Open! 🦷

If you’re enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), it’s time to renew your coverage for the upcoming year. Renewal applications are open from April 15 to June 1.

✅ To keep your dental coverage active, make sure you renew before the deadline to avoid interruptions in benefits.

Here’s what patients should know:
• Renewals are required each year
• You may need your latest tax information and personal details
• Coverage dates and eligibility can change if renewal is not completed on time
• Patients can renew online, by phone, or through Service Canada

As one of our amazing dental assistants, Monique brings so much creativity, humour, hard work, and heart to our office every single day. She has such a natural way of making patients feel comfortable and cared for, and her positive energy is something both our team and patients love about her 💖

So in honour of her birthday, here are a few fun facts to help you get to know Monique a little better!

✨ I’m happiest being the “helper” at work and supporting both our team and patients however I can

✨ I love encouraging people to grow, learn new skills, and build confidence in themselves 💖

✨ I’m basically the queen of hobbies: sewing, leatherwork, gardening, Cricut projects, fishing, pottery… I’m always trying something new 🎨

✨ I grew up as a total beach bum and spent most of my time by the lake ☀️🌊

✨ I was a volunteer S.A.R. (Search and Rescue) member

✨ I love continuing my education by taking courses & hands on learning📖

✨ I’ll choose the outdoors over being inside pretty much every time 🌲

A little recap from last weekend at Ontario Dental Association ASM 🎥✨

We had a fantastic time spending the weekend with colleagues and friends while learning, connecting, and staying current within our industry. Conferences like this are something we truly value as a team — investing in continuing education allows us to keep growing professionally and continue bringing the best possible care, knowledge, and experience back to our patients every day. 🦷🤍

Grateful for a weekend full of inspiration, laughs, great conversations, and time together outside the office. Already looking forward to the next one!

Hi! Today we’re celebrating a special birthday… Dr. Lindsay’s! 🥳🎉

Not only is she the owner & principal dentist at Aylmer Family Dental, but she’s also a huge part of what makes our office feel like home. She brings so much kindness, humour, and care into our workplace and plays such an important role in guiding our team. She’s truly someone our patients and staff adore. Whether she’s leading Invisalign treatment, performing laser and nitrous appointments, educating patients, or helping someone achieve their smile makeover goals, she puts her whole heart into what she does every day 💖

So in honour of her birthday, here are a few fun facts from Dr. Lindsay:

✨ I’ve always been a bit of a nerd 🤓 In Grade 7, I was runner-up in the Ontario Math Olympics, and in dental school I somehow ended up both class president and student body president.

✨ My favourite part of my job (besides seeing patients!) is hiring — I love discovering people’s unique gifts and helping our team grow together!

✨ I once had tea at Buckingham Palace… so apparently all those etiquette lessons from my mom paid off ☕👑

✨ I grew up on a tree farm, which sparked a love of nature and spring blooms 🌲🌷

✨ I’ve been a Swiftie since before “Tim McGraw” hit the radio 🎶

✨ My love of travel and giving back has taken me from Switzerland, Vietnam, and Hawaii to helping set up a dental school in Ethiopia — with a Caribbean dental outreach trip coming next! ✈️

✨ I’m officially a crazy cat lady with three fur babies at home… and aunt to 29 nieces and nephews ☺️

✨ Thanks to Joseph, I’ve become a big F1 fan — and despite my competitive streak, I’m still trying to beat him at karting 😜

✨ My go-to karaoke song is “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” by Nancy Sinatra 🎤 Listener beware ☠️

✨ More than anything, I’m passionate about helping people feel seen, confident, healthy, and empowered — which is why my favourite procedure is a complete oral exam 🥰
