Meet Dr. Deborah O'Reilly!

Dr. Deborah O’Reilly’s journey in dentistry began in her hometown of Dublin, Ireland, where she earned her dental degree. While studying, she met her husband, Dr. Maitray, a fellow dental student from Canada. Their shared passion for dentistry eventually led them to Canada, where Dr. O’Reilly pursued specialized training in Orthodontics at the University of Western Ontario.

Now happily settled in Kitchener-Waterloo, Dr. O’Reilly and Dr. Maitray have built both their careers and their family here. They are proud parents to their daughter and share their home with their beloved teacup poodle, Cece.

During her time at Western, Dr. O’Reilly was honored with the John and Nancy Murray Prize and the P.J. Blake Memorial Award for her excellence in the field. Her research focused on the differentiation of human periodontal ligament cells, contributing to advancements in orthodontic science. She remains passionate about providing top-quality orthodontic care and is an active member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Outside of work, Dr. O’Reilly loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, and making memories with her daughter and little Cece.

Meet Dr. Pierre Obeid!

Dr. Obeid was educated at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He has been practicing general dentistry for over 20 years and is licensed in the Province of Ontario and the state of Michigan.

He enjoys lecturing and mentoring dentists and denturists in the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant dentistry, and does so actively. Dr. Obeid is also a Key Opinion Leader on various aspects of technology in dentistry.

Dr. Obeid is certified in Intravenous Sedation, additionally a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI), Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DOCOI), Fellow of the American Academy of Dentistry (FAAID) and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).

Cameron Goertzen, DDS, MSc

Dr. Cameron graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Medical Science as well as an Honours degree in Pathology & Toxicology. He then obtained his Master of Science degree in Physiology & Pharmacology also at University of Western Ontario. From there, he completed a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree followed by a three-year Dental Anaesthesiology specialty program, both at the University of Toronto where he gained extensive experience in providing moderate and deep sedation and general anesthesia to a wide variety of patients.

Dr. Cameron has since trained at multiple hospitals and gained an abundance of experience and expertise in general anesthesia and sedation. He is also a proud member of the Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia, and The American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
