Heads up, Aurora families — some important changes to the Canadian Dental Care Plan just kicked in today (April 1).

The biggest thing to know? If you're enrolled in the CDCP, you need to renew your coverage between April 15 and June 1. If you miss the deadline, your coverage ends June 30 — and any dental care during the gap won't be covered.

Here's the good news: the updated fee schedule means slightly better reimbursement for some services, and the rules around immediate dentures just got simpler.
