The Seattle Study Club Symposium is much more than a dental conference.
It is an event designed to enrich the lives of its participants in every sense—mentally, physically, interpersonally, and, of course, scientifically. Its purpose is to help us become more complete human beings.
Behind it all stands a brilliant mind who inspires us through every gesture, every spoken word, and every written line: Michael Cohen.
I always dreamed of attending this event because of the breadth and depth of its content—simply as a learner. To now have the privilege of being invited to participate as a speaker on several occasions is something truly unforgettable for me.
This year, I was deeply surprised and honored to receive the Saul Schluger Memorial Award for Clinical Excellence, a distinction of great academic value granted by the Seattle Study Club. It recognizes professionals who stand out for their clinical reasoning, interdisciplinary approach, and ability to plan complex cases with predictability. It is, without question, one of the greatest honors of my life.
And finally, it is always an event where I reunite with dear friends, exchange ideas, laugh, and leave feeling far greater than when I arrived.
