Dr. Inesa Penova/Д-р Инеса Пенова Възстановителна дентална медицина/ Restorative dentistry

Д-р Инеса Пенова е лекар по дентална медицина.
Завършва факултета по Дентална медицина към Медицински университет - София.

Интересите й са насочени в областта на възстановителната дентална медицина, по конкретно директни композитни възстановявания във фронта.

По време на своето обучение участва в различни състезания, част от които са:
-“Усмивка на годината” 2021г. и 2022г.
-международното състезание “Dental progress award”, Ivoclar
-през 2023г. става представител на България на международния кръг на състезанието за директни композитни възстановявания “Micerium” - “Jules Allemand Trophy”, Киети, Италия

Д-р Пенова вярва, че естествено изглеждащите резултати, съобразени с индивидуалните особености на пациента са ключът към постигане на висока естетика.

Direct restorations ✨

Direct composite restorations are a predictable and minimally invasive treatment option for achieving highly aesthetic smile transformations.

In this clinical case, due to lateral incisor hypodontia, the canine was carefully reshaped into a lateral incisor, while the first premolar was transformed into a canine. This biomimetic approach allowed us to restore smile harmony while preserving the natural tooth structure without any unnecessary removal of healthy dental tissues.

Step by step rehabilitation of a tooth wear case after orthodontics ✨

1) Working with composite without proper isolation is never an option.

2) In composite veneer cases, I always prefer to start with the cervical build-up and create the emergence profile first. For this, I use additional tissue retraction with B4 clamps. In this case, I used JE, GC A’chord.

3) Next step — the palatal shell and proximal walls with JE. It may be the boring part, but definitely one of the most critical steps for our restorations.

4) Reaching the layering phase is my favorite moment — this is where the artistry begins ✨

5) Final step - the enamel layer. I like building the final enamel in small portions to have better control over the composite and to shape the transitional line angles one by one, and sometimes even part of the texture, already during placement.
