An endo aspirator removes pus and exudate from a root canal through high-volume suction and specialized micro-capillary tips.

How It Works

Negative Pressure: The device connects to a dental suction unit to create a strong, continuous vacuum.

Capillary Action: Ultra-fine, flexible tips fit directly inside the narrow, shape-compromised root canal.

Fluid Dislodgement: The suction force draws thick pus, inflammatory fluid, and debris upward from the apex.

Evacuation: The collected exudate travels instantly through the tip and tubing directly into the dental waste system.
Limitations of an Endo Aspirator

Anatomical Blocks: Cannot reach the tooth apex if canals are severely curved or calcified.

Viscosity Limits: Thick, highly cellular pus can clog the ultra-fine micro-tips.

Apical Damage Risks: Excessive suction force or over-extension can traumatize periapical tissues.

Incomplete Cleansing: Removes bulk fluids but cannot eliminate bacteria embedded in microscopic lateral canals.

Single-Use Waste: Micro-tips require constant replacement, increasing procedural material costs.
