Most babies start getting their first teeth around 6 months of age, and by about 2ยฝโ3 years, the full set of 20 primary (baby) teeth is usually present.
Here is the typical timeline of baby tooth eruption:
โข Lower central incisors โ usually appear first, around 6โ10 months
โข Upper central incisors โ erupt around 8โ12 months
โข Upper lateral incisors โ appear around 9โ13 months
โข Lower lateral incisors โ erupt between 10โ16 months
โข Upper first molars โ usually come in around 13โ19 months
โข Lower first molars โ erupt around 14โ18 months
โข Upper canines (cuspids) โ appear between 16โ22 months
โข Lower canines โ erupt between 17โ23 months
โข Lower second molars โ usually appear between 23โ31 months

Every child develops at a slightly different pace, so a variation of a few months is usually normal.
