A position for a Permanent Part Time Receptionist/Dental Assistant /Lab Assistant exists in our modern Denture Clinics situated in North Brisbane Bay side suburbs of Redcliffe & Zillmere & Sandgate.The successful applicant doesn’t need to have experience in these areas although general administrative and clerical experience would be desirable. Also must have advanced computer skills. This position is for 5 days per week.
The main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities include greet patients, assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation, verify and update patient information, inform patients of dental office procedures and policies, move patients through appointments as scheduled, enter all relevant patient information into data system, maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations, answer and manage incoming calls, schedule patient appointments, confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol, check daily appointment schedule, dental charting, fill in cancellations and no-shows, organise referrals to other medical specialists, collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment, inform patients of financial treatment plan options, arrange payment schedule with patients, prepare claim for dental insurance, monitor and maintain dental office supplies, update patient education materials, maintain professional reception & clinical areas, safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality, assist the prosthetist chairside, general cleaning duties.
* Must be able to travel to clinics at Zillmere & Redcliffe & Sandgate.
