🦷 Dr Kiran Kumar

Dr Kiran brings decades of specialist endodontic experience to the Queensland Endodontics team, alongside his passion for education and mentorship. ✨

With more than 25 years of specialist experience across Australia and internationally, Dr Kiran has built a career dedicated to managing complex endodontic cases with precision, patience, and genuine care. After completing his specialist training and Master’s Degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in 2000, he later requalified as a specialist in Australia through the University of Queensland’s Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics) program.

Dr Kiran is also a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and continues to contribute to endodontic education through his teaching role at the University of Queensland.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys the Australian outdoors, badminton, cricket, bushwalking, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.

💫 Meet another specialist behind the microscope 🔬

🦷 Dr Sepanta Hosseinpour

Dr Sep holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Master of Public Health (MPH), and later completed a PhD in Regenerative Dentistry at the University of Queensland. His academic work includes publishing more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and contributing as an editor to a textbook in regenerative dentistry.

Following his research achievements, Dr Sep completed specialist training in Endodontics at the University of Queensland, earning his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr Sep continues to contribute to the profession as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at UQ, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS).

Outside the clinic, he enjoys cooking, hiking, science-fiction films and novels, and exploring Australia with his partner.

🦷 Dr Yao Teoh

Dr Yao completed his dental degree, research degree and specialist training at the University of Queensland, dedicating years to advancing his expertise in endodontics. In addition to clinical practice, he is actively involved in research and education, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and lectures delivered both nationally and internationally.

Known for his calm approach and attention to detail, Dr Yao is passionate about providing the highest standard of care while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys technology, playing the guitar, travelling, and discovering great food — but most importantly, spending time with his young family and their mini dachshund, Frankie 🐾

As we close out the year, we’re feeling incredibly grateful. So many good things happened, the team grew stronger, and 2025 brought clarity, growth, and alignment in all the right ways 😌✨

Holiday Closure Notice:

We will be closed from the 23rd of December 2024 to the 2nd of January 2025.

Our schedule is currently very full, but don't worry—we’ve set aside a few emergency appointment slots for patients in need of urgent treatment. These spots are extremely limited, so please reach out soon if you require assistance.

As the holiday season approaches, we highly encourage you to book your appointment early to avoid disappointment.

Since this is our first time taking time off for Christmas, please bear with us during our Christmas closure period as responses to queries may be slower while we figure out what all the holiday fuss is about 🤣 ☃️🎄

We will be back in full swing from the 3rd of Janaury 2025 onwards and will do our best to respond to all emails, voicemails, and enquiries as quickly as possible.
