This 33-year-old patient was diagnosed with a rare, non-cancerous but aggressive tumour in the left upper jaw.

The tumour was carefully removed by A/Prof Bruce Ashford, and a custom-made titanium implant was placed during the same surgery. Temporary teeth were provided immediately, allowing the patient to smile, speak, and eat while healing.

Six months later, the final teeth were fitted, completing her treatment and restoring both function and confidence.

Beautiful laboratory work by our on-site lab technicians to maintain the natural appearance to match the remaining teeth as per the patient’s request.

This patient presented with internal absorption with the upper left central incisor and required extraction and replacement.

The tooth was extracted, followed by immediate implant placement and a simultaneous bone graft (bovine bone substitute), and gum graft (connective tissue from the palate). An immediate temporary crown was fabricated from milled PMMA. The final crown was fabricated four months later by the talented Brian Walters.

Restoration of broken down and worn teeth as a result of Amelogenesis Impefecta (a genetic condition that affects the formation of enamel). The teeth were restored with ceramic crowns (layered zirconia)
