At Sure Dental, good treatment planning starts with listening.

Before any clinical work begins, Dr Michael takes the time to understand each patient's concerns, priorities, and what they are hoping to address. This considered approach to assessment and planning helps ensure that any treatment discussed is appropriate to the individual's clinical needs and personal circumstances.

If you have been thinking about addressing a dental concern, a consultation is a good place to start.

Have you ever wondered whether you might benefit from a mouth guard?

A custom-made mouth guard is a dental appliance that may be recommended for patients who grind or clench their teeth, or for those who participate in contact sports where there is a risk of impact to the mouth.

Grinding and clenching, often referred to as bruxism, can place significant pressure on teeth over time. A clinical assessment can help determine whether a mouth guard may be a suitable option for your situation.

Speak with our team to find out more or to arrange a consultation.

Missing teeth, discolouration, and chipping are concerns we see regularly at Sure Dental, and they are more treatable than many people realise.

For this patient, Dr Michael Ghobrial developed a treatment plan involving porcelain veneers, crowns, and an implant bridge to address each area of concern across the upper arch. Each phase of treatment was carefully planned around the patient's bite, function, and overall oral health.

Every case is different, and suitability for this type of treatment depends on a thorough clinical assessment. Results vary between patients.

If you have been putting off addressing similar concerns, a consultation with Dr Michael Ghobrial is a good place to start.

Our team is here to walk you through what options may be suitable for you.

Considering Invisalign? Here are 3 things Dr Michael Ghobrial wants you to know before you start.

𝟭. 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘆. Depending on the degree of tooth movement required and individual clinical factors, treatment may range from as little as 10 to 12 weeks through to several months. Each case is assessed individually.

𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆. Aligners are generally recommended to be worn for around 22 hours per day. Adhering to this helps ensure treatment progresses as planned.

𝟯. 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. While aligners are removable, it is important to brush and floss thoroughly after eating before placing trays back in, to support good oral health throughout treatment.

Suitability for Invisalign depends on individual clinical assessment. Book a consultation with Dr Michael Ghobrial to discuss whether clear aligner treatment may be appropriate for you.

This patient presented with concerns about crowding and the alignment of their teeth. Following a thorough clinical assessment, Invisalign clear aligner treatment was determined to be a suitable option to address their concerns.

Invisalign treatment involves a series of custom-made, removable aligners worn progressively to shift teeth toward the planned positions. Treatment duration and suitability vary depending on the complexity of each individual case.

Individual suitability is determined through a detailed assessment of teeth, bite, and overall oral health. Results vary between patients.

If you have concerns about the alignment of your teeth, book a consultation with Dr Michael Ghobrial to discuss what options may be appropriate for you.

What makes a veneer look natural rather than obvious?

It comes down to the details. At Sure Dental, Dr Michael Ghobrial considers factors such as layering, texture, translucency, and how warmth is distributed near the gum line when planning veneer treatment. These elements help guide the design process toward a restoration that is consistent with each patient's natural dental anatomy.

The goal is a result that others simply cannot identify as dental work. Material selection between porcelain and resin is determined through individual clinical assessment, taking into account each patient's teeth, bite, and overall oral health.

If you have been considering veneers, a consultation with Dr Michael Ghobrial can help determine what may be suitable for you.

Root canal therapy is often misunderstood. Here is what it actually involves.

When a tooth becomes infected, root canal therapy aims to address the underlying cause by removing the infected tissue and cleaning the canal.

Where appropriate, a restoration such as a crown may then be recommended to support the function of the treated tooth.

Preserving the natural tooth where possible is an important consideration in treatment planning, as it can help support surrounding teeth and tissues over time.

Suitability for root canal therapy depends on individual clinical assessment.

If you have concerns about a tooth, speak with our team to discuss what options may be appropriate for your situation.
