Today is International Women’s Day, and I’ve been reflecting on the incredible women in my life.
To the women I have the privilege of working beside every day — thank you. Your strength, compassion, intelligence and dedication shape our workplace and the care we give to our community. I’m constantly inspired by the way you show up for patients and for each other.
To my girls — you remind me daily of the importance of kindness, curiosity, courage and joy. Watching you grow is one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I hope the world you grow up in continues to be shaped by strong, compassionate women like those I’m lucky enough to know.
And to my wife Juanita, and the women in my extended family — thank you for the love, guidance and resilience you bring to our lives. Your influence runs deeper than you probably realise.
Today is a reminder to celebrate the strength, care and leadership of women everywhere, but especially those close to us who quietly make the world better every single day.
