Look what our dentists get up to when they’re not at the clinic!
One of our dentists Dr Jayarna recently spent five days in Vanuatu volunteering with the Esesson Foundation, providing free dental care to children and adults in communities where access to healthcare and resources are limited.
And what an incredible effort! 🙌🏼 Over five days, the team of 9 dentists and 2 dental assistants from Aussie land treated 2,034 dental patients and completed 3,018 dental procedures!
This was Jayarna’s second time volunteering with the Esesson Foundation, providing free dental care.
We love seeing our team share their passion for dentistry ❤️

Tonight, our dental team refreshed their CPR and First Aid skills to help ensure we’re prepared to respond calmly and confidently if an emergency ever occurs in the practice.

We were in the hands of our local legend, Gail Smail, who was our Royal Life Saving Trainer this evening.

While we hope we never need to use these skills, regular training is an important part of maintaining a safe environment for our patients and team.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to participate, refresh their knowledge and support our commitment to patient safety.

There was plenty of learning, a few laughs and some very important reminders about what to do when things don’t go to plan!

Thank you to Gail for giving her time once again and helping us keep our skills up to date. 🦷⛑️

There’s nothing we love more than being a little Olympic star-struck when our very own local boy, Ben Armbruster comes to visit! 🥹🏅

Ben dropped in today and brought his Olympic medals along to give us a glimpse of his incredible performances and achievements. What a privilege it was to see them up close!

Well done, Ben! We are so proud to have such an incredible athlete come from our little town. It just goes to show the quality of talent we have right here in our community, and we know there are plenty more stars to come! ⭐️

Be proud of everything you’ve achieved, Ben, because we certainly are! 💙

And of course… keep smiling! Those pearly whites deserve their own spotlight too! 😁✨

🐯 Sue our therapist headed out on safari today… and managed to tame this little tiger! 🦷

After a thorough inspection of those fierce fangs, we’re pleased to report this wild one has a beautiful, healthy smile! 😁

No roaring, no growling… just lots of courage and a few tiger-sized grins. We’d say that’s a successful day in the jungle at Granite Belt Dental! 🌿

Well done, little tiger! We can’t wait to see you back for your next adventure. 🦷

Recently, Dr Nat, our principal dentist completed the Brisbane Marathon Festival Half Marathon, smashing out 21.1km in an incredible 1 hour, 29 minutes and 52 seconds and taking out 1st place in her age category!
What an achievement. 🥇

Apparently, spending all day chasing perfect smiles isn’t enough, she’s now decided to outrun most of Brisbane as well! 🦷

Congratulations on a magnificent run. 🏃‍♀️
