Today is World Food Day, and we're taking a moment to look back.

This is Dr. Nishant, serving food at a community outreach. For him, caring for people doesn't stop when the appointment ends. Giving back to the community is something he loves to do, and it's part of who he is.

The whole Warrnambool Dental team shares this heart for people, in the clinic and out in the community. We feel lucky to work alongside someone who leads with compassion.

Our patients said yes to sharing their new smile. They said no to sharing their face. 😂

So we found some volunteers. 🐶🐱🦊

Moral of the story: if you let us share your before and after, we'll go to any lengths to do it, even if the face has to be an animal's. 🦷✨

Dental anxiety is more common than many people think, and it can stop people from looking after their teeth. If that's you, you're not alone, and you don't have to push through it.

At Warrnambool Dental, we know anxiety exists on a spectrum, so we offer support at five levels:
1️⃣We talk you through every step
2️⃣A gentle approach to local anaesthetic
3️⃣Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help you relax
4️⃣Medication to help you relax, prescribed after an assessment
5️⃣Sleep dentistry (IV sedation or general anaesthesia), which is rarely needed but may be an option for severe anxiety or complex treatment

Your dentist will assess what's suitable for you. Just tell us how you're feeling and we'll talk through your options together.
