✂️❤️ A Little Bit of Hair, A Whole Lot of Hope ❤️
For many years, I’ve taken great care of my long hair. I’ve grown it, nurtured it, protected it, and treasured it. They say hair is our “crowning glory”—and I certainly felt that way about mine.
So, cutting it all off wasn’t an easy decision. After years of growing and caring for it, seeing my long hair fall away felt a little emotional. 🥹✂️
But sometimes, something we treasure can become even more meaningful when we give it away.
Yes, this is one of the reason why I grew my hair this long… there is a minimum length needed. I wanted even longer than that…
I’m donating my hair to the Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia through their Wigs4Kids™ program, with the hope that my hair can help bring a little confidence, comfort and happiness to a child going through cancer treatment. ❤️
It may just be hair to some, but to me, it represents years of growth—and now, an opportunity to give something that is truly a part of me.
If my hair can bring even a little smile to a child who is going through such a difficult journey, then every centimetre was worth it. 💕
Here’s to letting go of something beautiful and turning it into something even more beautiful—hope. 🌸
