"I can’t recommend Dr Vivien highly enough. My son has just completed two years of clear aligner treatment, and the results are absolutely amazing.

When we first met Vivien, we were feeling very deflated after seeing a highly recommended orthodontist in Joondalup who advised that clear aligners were not suitable and recommended breaking his jaw and removing four teeth + wisdoms before treatment.

🎉✨ 6 years later... and this smile is still going strong! 😁🦷💙

Today, Alexis came in for her 6-year retention check 📅🦷, and we’re so happy to see that her smile is still looking amazing! 😍✨

Orthodontic treatment doesn’t end when the braces come off—retention is the key to keeping that beautiful smile for life! 🔑💙

Alexis has been incredibly committed to wearing her retainers as instructed, and her dedication has truly paid off! 🙌💯 Six years after completing treatment, her teeth remain beautifully aligned, and the results have been exceptionally well maintained. 👏✨

Retainers may seem like a small part of the orthodontic journey, but they’re one of the most important! 🦷💙 They help prevent teeth from shifting and protect all the hard work that went into creating your perfect smile. Consistent retainer wear really does make all the difference! 🌟

A big congratulations to Alexis for taking such great care of her beautiful smile and for attending regular retention reviews. 🎊👏 Her commitment is the reason her smile still looks just as fantastic six years later! 😁✨

💡 Remember: Your retainers are a lifelong investment in your smile. Wear them as instructed and don’t skip your retention checks! ❤️🦷

When is the right time to start braces? 🦷✨

One of the most common questions we hear from parents is: “When should my child start braces?”

The answer is… it depends! Every child develops differently, and the best timing depends on their teeth, jaw growth, bite, and individual needs.

At Sky Orthodontics, we believe treatment should start at the right time — not simply the earliest time. An early orthodontic assessment (around 8-9 years old) can help identify potential concerns and allow us to monitor growth.

Sometimes, the best treatment decision is to wait and review until the timing is ideal. We are committed to providing honest, ethical, and personalised advice, recommending treatment only when we believe it will provide a genuine benefit.

A beautiful smile starts with the right plan, at the right time. 💙

"I had a fantastic experience with this family-operated orthodontic practice. Vivian did an amazing job realigning my teeth, and I'm so happy with the results. What really stood out was how much they genuinely cared, making sure I was well looked after even after my braces came off. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!" says Jael on Google
