Have you ever wondered why we take X-rays during your appointment? 🦷🩻

There’s a lot happening beneath the surface that we simply can’t see during a visual examination! Dental X-rays give us a closer look at your teeth, roots and surrounding bone, helping us detect things like decay between teeth, infections, bone changes and other concerns that may otherwise go unnoticed.

They’re an important tool for spotting problems early - often before you experience any pain or symptoms - so we can plan the right treatment and help keep your smile healthy long-term!✨

🌸 Spring has arrived - and it’s the perfect time to give your toothbrush a refresh! 🪥✨

Did you know it is recommended you replace your toothbrush every 3–4 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or worn?

Over time, toothbrushes are exposed to bacteria and other microorganisms, while worn bristles become less effective at removing plaque and food debris from your teeth and gumline. It’s also a good idea to replace your toothbrush after certain illnesses or if it’s looking a little worse for wear!

New season, fresh brush, healthier smile! 🪥🦷🌿
