Unfortunately accidents happen. We had two similar emergencies on the same day .So what do you do if your child has a broken tooth ?!
First things first, if your child suffered head trauma (became unconscious even briefly ) you need to call 000.
If He/She is well ,try to locate the broken pieces .Place them in milk and make an appointment with your dentist .The dentist will try to glue them back and /or restore the teeth .
In Both cases shown, our Dentist was able to glue back the broken pieces.
Always remind your child to use a mouthguard when playing contact sports.
At Coates Dental we will always try to see your child straight away.
