To avoid the spread of Covid-19, we have been recommended by the Australian Dental Association to operate at level 2 restrictions: which aims to minimize dental treatments that generate aerosols, or where aerosols generated have the presence of minimal saliva/blood, due to the use of rubber dam.
Treatments that will continue to be provided by Vincentia Dental Care as of 25th of March 2020 include:

• Oral examination, hand scale and fluoride
• Fillings, with the use of rubber dam
• Extractions
• Dentures
• Implant restorations: Single and All on 4s
• Orthodontic treatments: FastBraces

Implant surgeries will be delayed and all surgical extractions will be postponed. Selective emergencies (surgical extractions) will be performed using transmission-based precautions.

We will continue to adhere to the Australian Dental Board’s guidelines for infection control to maintain the safety of our staff and of our patients.
