We are looking for a kind, bubbly and modivated individual to assist our wonderful team in providing the best experience possible for our patients.
Duties include:
-The set up of dental procedures
-Assisting chair side during dental procedures
-Processing and sterilization of dental instruments
-Deep/environment cleaning of the practice
-Light administrative duties (all of our nurses are cross-trained for reception, sterilization and assisting)
Experience is preferred however we are more then happy to offer 'in house' training for the right candidate.

Job Brief:
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients.
Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
The Position is casual with a view towards permanent part time or full time.
On the Job training will be provided.
Remuneration above award rates.
Responsibilities include:
• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare patients for treatments or check-ups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the clinic clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Requirements
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Ability to learn new skills
• Ability to take instructions
