Do hard bristles clean better? Not quite! πͺ₯
Itβs a common myth that a harder brush means a cleaner smile. In fact, brushing too hard or with hard bristles can irritate your gums and wear down your teeth over time. A soft-bristled toothbrush is usually the recommended choice.
Some easy tips for your Saturday brush:
πͺ₯ Choose a soft-bristled toothbrush
𫧠Use gentle, small circular motions
β±οΈ Brush for two minutes, twice a day, with fluoride toothpaste
π Swap your brush every three months, or sooner if the bristles look worn
