Watch out for sports drinks

The Experts say sports drinks can be helpful for young athletes engaged in prolonged, vigorous physical activities, but unnecessary in most cases. Before your next sip, check the label to make sure your drink of choice is low in sugar or drink water.

Yay all the restrictions on kids dental treatments have been lifted.🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

After today’s announcement by our prime minister Scott Morrison. We can now inform our valued patients that dental restrictions have lifted back to level 2 allowing most dental procedures, and all restrictions lifted for children’s dentistry. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Due to recommendations from the Dental Board of Australia regarding the COVID 19 Pandemic and in the interest of public and professional safety we are temporarily moving to level 3 restrictions. CUSTOM DENTAL MADE MOUTHGUARDS
Tweed District Dental is the home of
TDD MOUTHGUARDS would like to make life easier for busy parents.
We are opening our doors on Saturdays to take mouthguard impressions heading into the football season. So whether AFL, league, union, soccer, or even hockey is your passion, pop in at your leisure to have your child’s mouthguard impression taken and a custom made mouthguard will be fabricated in a colour of their choice.
We have 40+ colours and combinations available.
For those players that hate wearing the chemist bought boil and bite style, a custom made mouthguard allows players to run, talk and drink without their mouthguard flying out and most importantly gives better protection to help keep their smiles in tact this season 😁.

1 layer - $70
1 layer - health fund only (no out of pocket if you have dental benefits)

2 layer heavy duty - $120 and some possible out of pocket (good for 14yrs and above)
