Wishing everyone a Happy Easter, filled with fun and family time. Our little crew this year reminds us of the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior during this period 2000 years ago.

And as Jesus said “Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven!”

The little play school crew reminds us of a period and a place in Australia when childhood was gifted to us to be children. When our minds were focused on having fun because we knew our parents would supply all our shelter, food, love and emotional support needs and life was easy and wonderful.

Enjoy this years chocolate, remember that Jesus is always there with love, hope and salvation, and be mindful to keep the joy of living life that you had as a child.

That’s a wrap for 2025. Thank you to all our wonderful clients who have supported us this year, our behind the scenes staff and support contractors, and all our wonderful referring dentist.

It has been a massive year for the business, and it all start last year as we kept the doors open for emergencies last Christmas. This year we will be closing for a few weeks to spend time with family and then do a bit of continuing education for the business.

Thank you all again, wishing you Merry Christmas and a safe festive New Years Eve. We re-open on the 20th of January 2026.

Yesterday I attended the second digital designed denture training course for 2025, with Evan Sallis. This course was focused on chrome partial design. He is such a great trainer and moves through the work flow at a pace that even I can keep up with. His courses encourage the student to initiate their digital journey by taking small manageable steps with back up support at your figure tips when you get stuck back in the office. It’s now looking positive for applying this technology for the benefit of the patient, while maintaining the quality outcomes we expect of our practice.

Thank you to Kylie Robb from Niche Dental for an excellent weekend training seminar on Infection Prevention and Control focussed on the AS5369 Standard. Kylie is such a knowledgeable and engaging presenter, we were lucky to have her travel up from Sydney for the North Queensland event in Cairns. Thanks also to Medical Dental Solutions for organising and hosting, looking forward to the next one.

For our patients, we always stay up to date in issues relating to dental prosthetics.

Last week was a great opportunity to learn from Dr Jon Suzuki, professor of dentistry and a world renowned immunologist. In his online lecture Professor Suzuki shared his valuable insights into osteoporosis, bisphosphonates and their impact on contemporary dentistry 🦷✨

Thank you to the Alpha Omega London dental society for hosting and opening this opportunity to hear from a global leader in the field.
