Last week our team gathered at Doc Hughes to celebrate two very special mums-to-be, Emily and Michelle, before they begin their maternity leave journeys 🤍

Emily has now officially finished up with us before welcoming her little one. Emily has been such a huge part of our team and daily life at the practice, bringing warmth, care and positivity to everyone around her every single day. She will be so missed while she’s away, and we are so grateful for everything she does for both our team and patients. We’re so excited for her as she begins this special new chapter with her growing family, and we already look forward to welcoming her back in the future.

Michelle, our amazing Oral Health Therapist, still has a few more weeks with us before she begins her maternity leave, and we’re so excited for her as well ✨

Such a lovely evening celebrating together and soaking up this very special time for both of them 🥰

Conservative dentistry is always our priority, especially for young patients.

‘White spots’ on teeth, often caused by hypoplastic enamel or early demineralisation, are very common. Traditionally, these have been treated with fillings or veneers.

Where possible, we aim to preserve natural enamel, particularly while patients are still growing.

In this case, we used a minimally invasive treatment called 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to significantly reduce the appearance of white patches on the two front teeth.

No injections, no drilling, and no damage to the natural tooth.

A simple and effective way to improve aesthetics while keeping the tooth structure intact.

Smile transformations don’t always require a full smile makeover ✨

This was a particularly rewarding case. Our patient had lost confidence in her smile due to antibiotic staining and budget limitations.

By treating just two teeth with ceramic crowns — one supporting a prosthetic tooth — we were able to brighten her smile, improve alignment, and replace a missing tooth…all in just two visits 🤩

This case highlights what’s possible with thoughtful planning, conservative treatment, and collaboration with the right lab.

Big thanks to for their precision and artistry 👏
