Today was one of those days that reminds us why we love this team.💙😍

We spent the day getting aligned, sharpening up on infection control, testing each other (yes, there were quizzes), sharing news, and eating far too much fruit.

But the highlight?

Today, our whole team got a first look at what is ahead. We have been planning this for a long time and we are so excited to (eventually) share it with you.

Somewhere out there is a kid wiggling a loose tooth, completely unaware that there's a whole little world living inside their mouth with opinions about it.

"The Last Loose Tooth" by Tyler Clark Burke tells the story from the tooth's perspective, and honestly? It's one of the most clever ways we've seen oral health explained to a child.

We rate it five stars. It's funny, it's warm, and it makes brushing feel like it matters to someone (because apparently, it does).

The Australian Business Awards recognise outstanding achievement across Australian businesses nationally.

Toowoomba Dental was awarded Marketing Excellence, specifically for Blossom Club, the kids initiative Chels built from the ground up.

But the reason this award means something to us goes beyond the certificate. We are a small family business, and we genuinely believe kids’ experiences at the dentist don’t have to be something they dread. The brushing charts, the stickers, the school and kindy visits, the resources kids actually take home and use, all of it exists because we put real thought into what it feels like to be a little person sitting in that chair.

When a national program recognises that effort, it’s a reminder that doing things properly, even the things nobody asks you to do, is always worth it. ❤️

Blue and gold, custom-made. 💙💛

Yesterday we handed over close to 50 custom mouthguards to the boys at Toowoomba Grammar School, and honestly, we were blown away. The interest, the energy, the rugby boys were genuinely stoked about their mouthguards (yes, really).

Today marks the start of rugby season, and we couldn't be more excited to see these out on the field. Thank you to Toowoomba Grammar School for trusting us with this, we had an absolute blast. To the boys heading into season, play hard, stay safe, and good luck.

Next year? We're making it bigger. 🏉

💙 She made it!

We shared her story a little while ago. The old house from the block behind our Herries Street practice, relocated 175km across two states overnight by to a couple in Tenterfield, ready to give her a new life. We didn't know what she looked like on the other side.

Tony Carr tracked her down and sent us proof. He sent us these. Golden hour behind her, open sky ahead of her. Looking like she's exactly where she's supposed to be. Thank you, Tony for taking the time to find her and share this with us. And thank you to everyone who followed her journey and cared about where she landed. We didn't expect that, and it meant more than we can say.

She's home, and she looks pretty good. 🏡

💙 Today is World Health Day. And honestly? We don't need a fancy graphic for it.

Because health isn't just what happens in the chair. It's the early mornings. Back-to-back appointments. Patients who are nervous, patients who are funny, patients who become like family.

This World Health Day we're celebrating the humans who make it all happen. Not the clinic. The people.
