Braithwaite’s Family Dental is a QIP accredited practice, providing quality dental care for all th Mark has known many of his clients since child hood.

Braithwaite’s Family Dental has a proud history of dental service in the Manning Valley. Mark Braithwaite has practised in Taree since 1988 when he joined his father Brian in Manning Street. Brian had come to Taree in 1962 to take over the practice of George Ruprecht who had commenced in 1918. We take pride in our relationships with staff and our patients and their families. Several of our team members have worked with us for decades, and have balanced raising their families with dentistry. Some of our staff have left to undertake university study and are now back at our practice as highly qualified health providers. All our professional staff are committed to continuing professional development, attending conferences and accessing current research and new techniques. Our team members are also educators at university dental schools and involved in organizing continuing professional education in the Australian Dental Association. Mark is the immediate past president and for many years previously the secretary of the NE Division of the ADA. In our dedication to providing the best care for our patients we put much emphasis on the long term evidence that supports our treatments. Braithwaite’s Family Dental has been a QIP accredited practice for some years. This means we have developed policies and governance to ensure quality assurance and infection control through our sterilization procedures. Above all we want to establish your ongoing dental well being. We do our utmost to make your visit pleasant and a sound basis for planning your continuing treatment and care.

There's something special about being a family practice when your patients drop in morning tea for you 😍! Thanks for making our day!

🎉 Congratulations to Dr Mark, who was awarded the ADA NSW Branch Service Medallion for his outstanding dedication and service to the dental profession.

Dr Mark has been a member of the NSW Australian Dental Association for years (longer than Dr Annika has been alive!), and has been actively involved in bringing education / training to rural dentists as well as advocating in the dental sphere for our community. We are thrilled he has been acknowledged for his commitment.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June, the OG practice manager and matriarch of Braithwaite’s Family Dental. She was an amazing presence as Dr Brian’s offsider for many years in the practice (as Dr Mark and Karen can attest), and a much loved wife, mother and grandmother. 💕

We thank you for your understanding during this sad time as we have had to rearrange appointments at short notice.

With tomorrow (Monday 27th) being the ANZAC day public holiday, the practice will remain closed.

We will reopen from 9am on Tuesday.
