A carefully planned restorative case by Dr Michael Cai. 🦷
This patient came to us with an existing implant restoration on tooth 11, which had been placed around ten years prior following dental trauma. Over time, grinding and bruxism had caused significant wear across the remaining teeth, leading to a collapsed bite and deterioration of five existing veneers across the upper arch.
Dr Michael replaced the implant restoration and existing veneers, and carried out a full restorative rebuild to address the wear and re-establish the bite. The goal was to restore function and stability across the arch as a whole.
Cases like this require careful planning across multiple stages. A thorough assessment is carried out before any treatment is recommended, taking into account the patient's bite, bone health, and overall oral health.
If you have been considering restorative treatment and would like to understand your options, a consultation with Dr Michael Cai is a great place to start.
