Did you know that 1 in 4 adults aged between 20-64 CURRENTLY have cavities. Cavities left untreated ultimately result in pain, swelling and possible tooth loss. This was a treatment that took years to complete by Dr. Brian Joffe at Hyde Park Dental Care. The major problem was that that the 2 upper lateral incisors were congenitally missing and resulting in a poor cosmetic smile with no spacing to fill the gaps caused by the missing teeth. The treatment involved both conventional (metal braces) and clear aligner therapy (invisible braces) to make space for the placement of two cantilever bridges to fill the gaps. The ultimate result was a beautiful aesthetic pleasing outcome that resulted in a very happy patient with a boost to his self esteem and confidence.
