Olympic smiles 😀 Does swimming in the pool affects your teeth?

Some of the dental issues that can be caused by frequent swimming in high chlorinated pools include:
• Teeth stains
• Teeth sensitivity to hot and cold

If you are spending a lot of time in the chlorinated pool try to keep your mouth closed as much as possible while you swim and rinse your mouth in the water afterward.

If you have staining on your teeth or teeth sensitivity call us on 02 9902 7889 for a check up and clean appointment. One of our dentists / hygienist will track down the cause and recommend appropriate treatment 😀

Dental Rescue Day 😀

In collaboration with the Australian Dental Association, Dr Peter Marinovic and his team volunteered their time and skills to help restore smiles amongst vulnerable Australians who otherwise wouldn’t have access to dental care.

Some of the patients were homeless, while others were recovering from drug and alcohol addiction or dealing with domestic issues. It is difficult for many of these patients with chronic or complex dental issues to access a dentist when needed. It was rewarding we could offer to help them.

Everyone felt empowered by helping others and our patients were just so lovely! 💙😄🤍
