Recently I had a case where a young fit guy with nothing apparent came in for a clean. I always take CT scans. This time the scan revealed a huge undetected cyst around an unerupted wisdom tooth. The risk for him was a fracture of his jaw eating anything hard. Its always better to know what's going on. Do you?
