Management of localised anterior wear with Dahl concept.
We initially did surgical crown lengthening on lower anterior teeth as the long term plan is to restore those teeth with ceramic veneers.
Lower posteriors had some toothwear so when we opened up the vertical dimension, we did some additive resin work.
Quadrant two is a tooth-borne bridge with compromised teeth and will eventually be replaced with implant supported bridge.

Beautiful ceramic work on maxillary anterior 6 by Matteo.

One tip when you are tracking your Dahl cases - take a bite registration on the day you restore worn anterior teeth. At review visits you can place the bite registration to see if it creates anterior open bite or not and if it does you know the posterior teeth are re-establishing contacts!

When I'm doing a treatment to replace a maxillary lateral incisor, my first preference is a maryland bridge due to its conservativeness. When adjacent teeth have indirect restorations I may consider a conventional cantilever bridge.

I recently had to do emergency treatment on a decoronated lateral incisor. The patient didn't really want a maryland or cantilever bridge. Fortunately the site was dimensionally and anatomically predictable for an implant, so we did treatment involving partial extraction therapy and an immediate implant.

On the same day we had another case where the patient was referred for an implant to replace her failing 22. This time the site wasn't very predictable for an immediate implant. Luckily, she had an indirect restoration on her canine and therefore we decided on placing a cantilever bridge. We proceeded with a pontic shield, which is a modified technique of partial extraction therapy. In addition we did socket grafting to manage the dehiscence defect. 3-4 months later we converted the provisional bridge into a zirconia bridge.

Partial extraction therapy is a really predictable and reproducible technique when taught and applied well.

I'll be running a course on Partial extraction therapy, and other techniques in the aesthetic zone and we will cover indications, step by step protocol, analogue and 3D printed chair-side provisionals and how to manage complications in the aesthetic zone.
