Sometimes the solution is not more surgery. It is thoughtful prosthodontic design ➡️
After several unsuccessful surgical attempts elsewhere, this patient presented unhappy with the loss of soft tissue, air escape during speech, and a persistent lisp affecting both confidence and function.
One option was to remove the implants and begin treatment again entirely. Instead, a far more conservative and predictable approach was chosen by prosthetically replacing the missing soft tissue architecture with carefully designed pink porcelain.
By understanding both biologic and prosthetic principles, we were able to restore aesthetics, phonetics, and confidence without further invasive surgery.
In complex implant rehabilitation, success is not always about doing more. Sometimes it is about designing better.
