Yes, pigmentation can be treated on darker skin types! Here we treated dark spots known as post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, small clusters of open and closed comedones and we have a more even skin tone. To treat superficial & pitted scars we are moving onto skin needling to minimise the appearance of this.

The depigmentation process requires the clients 100% commitment to a skin care routine at home to maintain the final outcome. Other factors that may exacerbate or bring back pigmentation are:
☀️ sun exposure
🩹 physical trauma to the skin
💊 medications that cause photo sensitivity
🧬 hormonal imbalances
It is VITAL to protect the skin not only with sunscreen, but have physical protection (wearing hats/sunnies) especially during the hotter seasons 😎
