Closing spaces. Restoring proportions. Creating balance.
This young patient presented with peg-shaped maxillary lateral incisors, resulting in spacing and disproportion in the anterior smile. While orthodontics can improve alignment, the underlying tooth morphology often still requires restorative correction.
Treatment involved minimal-preparation porcelain veneers from upper canine to canine (13–23) to restore ideal tooth width, symmetry, and incisal harmony.
Clinical goals
• Correct peg lateral morphology
• Close anterior spacing
• Improve tooth proportions and smile arc
• Maintain a conservative preparation design
Result
Natural tooth proportions with improved smile balance while preserving as much enamel as possible.
Treatment: Porcelain veneers (Upper 3–3)
Indication: Peg lateral incisors and anterior spacing
Approach: Conservative aesthetic rehabilitation
A good example of how small anatomical corrections can significantly improve facial aesthetics.
