This case, completed by Dr Joee Lim, showcases the transformation achieved with custom-made crowns on the upper front four teeth.

Years of wear, failing restorations, and aesthetic concerns can affect not only the appearance of a smile, but also how comfortably and confidently a person functions day-to-day. By carefully planning the shape, colour, and proportions of the restorations, we were able to restore both the strength and natural appearance of these upper anterior teeth.

Each crown was crafted locally in Brisbane by skilled dental technicians, allowing close collaboration to achieve a result that complements the patient's facial features and smile while supporting Australian manufacturing.

While we didn’t take home an award at the Local Business Awards – Moreton Bay Region, we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as a finalist for Dental Service of the Year and Business Person of the Year.

For a relatively young practice, this recognition means a lot to us. It’s a reflection of the people behind Platypus Dental, the patients who continue to trust us with their care, and the many stakeholders and community members who have supported our journey.

A huge thank you to our incredible team, our patients, our partners and our wider community. Every appointment, conversation, referral and word of support has helped us get to where we are today. 💙
