Placing the wrong prosthesis in the wrong patient is the single biggest error you can make in treatment planning. Before starting any complex restorative or implant case, always evaluate key patient factors like biomechanics, periodontal history, and habits like smoking. Patients who destroy their natural teeth will destroy your restorations without proper occlusal planning, so pay close attention to what has, or hasn’t, worked for them in the past.
