Comprehensive rehabilitation. Function first, aesthetics second. š¦·
This case involved a combination of upper and lower crowns, veneers, and bridges (indirect ceramic restorations fabricated in a laboratory) to address multiple concerns.
In the lower arch, bridges were used to close spaces and restore continuity where teeth were missing.
In the upper arch, worn and structurally compromised teeth were restored to improve strength, shape, and long-term stability.
Indirect ceramic restorations offer several advantages in suitable cases:
⢠High strength and durability
⢠Excellent colour stability
⢠Resistance to chipping and staining compared to direct composite materials
The goal was not only to improve appearance, but to restore function, protect remaining tooth structure, and create a stable foundation for long-term success.
