🎊 🩷 WMHSAC Breast Cancer Awareness✨

Our Breast Cancer Awareness event, hosted by NDIS, was a fun, engaging and successful gathering filled with positivity, connection and community spirit. The Zumba activities were a fantastic way to get our ladies moving, staying active and enjoying themselves while promoting health and wellbeing in a fun and uplifting environment.

One of the most touching highlights of the event was hearing the real-life story of a breast cancer survivor who courageously shared her journey. Despite experiencing no signs or symptoms, she faced breast cancer with incredible strength and bravery. Her story was a powerful reminder of the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection and regular health checks. Her courage, honesty and willingness to share her experience inspired us all. The event was not only about raising awareness but also about celebrating resilience, supporting one another and reminding every woman that she is never alone in her journey.

📣 Bird flu is on Country 🚫

If you see sick or dead birds or other wildlife:

🚫 Hands off: Don’t touch sick or dead birds or animals - Keep the kids and the dogs back too.
👀👀 Eyes on: Get a photo from a distance, if it's right to take one. Note the place, the day, how many.

🗣🗣 Sing out: To your ranger group, your clinic, or the hotline on 1800 675 888 (24 hours, 7 days a week).
We know this Country. We know when something’s not right.
