Meet Mia 🦷✨

Mia has been part of the team for 3 months and has already become a valued member of the practice! Her favourite procedures are multiple surface fillings and crown preparations and inserts, where she enjoys the hands-on nature of treatment and helping create great patient outcomes.

Outside of work, Mia loves making the most of her free time by spending time with her friends and boyfriend, heading to the beach, going camping, soaking up the sunshine, and (in her words!) spending way too much money shopping. ☀️🏕️🛍️

The best advice Mia has taken from the practice is: “Give everything a go even if it feels daunting, it’s always an opportunity to learn something new.” 💙

Meet Dr Zoher 👋

Dr Zoher has been with the practice for 2 months now and has already become a great part of the team.

His favourite procedures are crowns and fillings, where he enjoys helping patients restore their smiles and confidence.

Outside of work, Dr Zoher loves cooking and eating and while he’d like to say he enjoys running, most of his running these days is after his toddler.

The best advice he’s received at the practice so far? A nurse once shared the best mac and cheese recipe he’s ever had.

If your bristles are frayed, it’s time for a new one. We recommend replacing your toothbrush (or electric brush head) every 3–4 months and after being sick to keep your smile clean and healthy. 🦷💙

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mishel to the team at SCD! 🦷✨

Dr. Mishel has recently joined us and is already making a wonderful impression. She loves all things restorative especially crowns and dentures and takes pride in helping patients restore their smiles with confidence.

When she’s not in the practice, you’ll find her camping, hiking, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or enjoying some seriously good food! 🏕️🥋🍴

The best advice she’s received (and lives by)? “Take everything one step at a time” and remember the 7 Ps: Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance. 🙌

Most people should brush their teeth for two minutes, twice a day. That full two minutes helps remove plaque from all surfaces of your teeth, especially along the gumline where problems can start. If you’re stopping early, you might be leaving plaque behind without realising.
