Episode 9 is here, and we’re joined by Dr Khaled Zoud , Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, to discuss his pathway from general dentistry into one of the most surgically demanding specialties in dentistry and medicine.

In this segment, Dr Zoud shares his journey through dental school, developing a strong interest in anatomy and surgery before entering the oral and maxillofacial surgery training program in New South Wales. After completing both dental and medical degrees, along with specialist surgical training, his pathway took 17 years from the beginning of university to qualifying as a specialist surgeon.

This episode explores Dr Zoud’s experience performing complex implant procedures including zygomatic implants, and the lessons he has learned through years of surgical practice.
