If this is you, don't! 🦷

If you grew up brushing, spitting and rinsing, you’re not alone. It may feel natural to wash out that minty toothpaste after brushing, but not so fast!

Rinsing with water straight after brushing actually washes away the fluoride that’s working hard to protect your teeth from cavities.

Want to get the most out of your brushing routine? Try this 👇
😬 Brush gently in circles, making sure you reach every surface.
👉 Spit out the toothpaste, don’t swallow it.
🚫 Skip the rinse—even if it feels weird at first.
⏳ Let that fluoride stick around a little longer to strengthen your teeth.

It might take a little getting used to, but your teeth will thank you! 😁

Your teeth are not tools! 😬

Using your teeth to open bottles, tear packets, or break plastic ties may seem like a quick fix, but it can lead to serious dental issues over time.

Biting down on hard objects can crack or chip your teeth, wear down enamel, and even cause gum cuts. Over time, this can increase the risk of cavities, tooth sensitivity, and more serious oral health problems. ⚠

To protect your teeth, you should:
🦷 always use proper tools like bottle openers or scissors
🦷 ask for help if you’re struggling to open something
🦷 practise good dental hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly
🦷 keep your enamel strong with regular dental check-ups.

Don’t let the urge to use your teeth as tools cost you your smile! 😄
