🪥 Wondering when to book your little one's first dental visit?

It's earlier than most parents think! As a general rule, we recommend bringing your child in by their first birthday — or within six months of their first tooth popping through. Yes, really.

Early visits aren't about doing much (those tiny teeth don't need a lot) — they're about getting your child comfortable in the chair, helping us spot any early issues, and building healthy habits from day one. Think of it as introducing them to the dentist as a friendly, familiar face, rather than somewhere to be nervous about.
Our team takes that first visit gently and at your child's pace — no rush, no pressure, and plenty of patience for the wiggly ones.

(And yes, you can absolutely come along for moral support — we promise to be just as gentle with the parents 😄)

😬 Does a sip of iced water make you wince?

You're not alone — tooth sensitivity is one of the most common things we see, but also one of the most overlooked. That sharp little zing when you bite into something cold, hot, or sweet is your teeth trying to tell you something's going on beneath the surface.

It could be worn enamel, gum recession, a tiny crack, an old filling that needs reviewing, or even night-time grinding. Because the causes vary so much, a proper look from your dentist makes all the difference — and the sooner we catch it, the simpler the fix.

(And no, switching to a "sensitive teeth" toothpaste isn't always enough on its own — though we'll happily recommend the good ones 😉)
