At Rogers Dental, caring for people has always been at the heart of what we do. As a family-owned dental practice in Woodvale, we believe in giving back to our community — both at home and further afield.

During a recent trip to South Africa, we had the privilege of donating toothpaste and other essential items to Heartlands Baby Sanctuary in Somerset West, South Africa.

Heartlands provides a safe, loving and homely environment for up to 25 vulnerable children from birth to six years of age, providing care, healthcare, early childhood development and support while working towards a safe and loving future for every child.

Their vision, “It’s every child’s birthright to belong,” really resonated with us. At Rogers Dental, we are passionate about preventative dental care and helping families build healthy habits from a young age. Being able to take that passion beyond our own community and provide dental products to children on the other side of the world was incredibly special.

We are so grateful to the amazing team at Heartlands for the work they do every single day and were honoured to contribute in our own small way.

This Dental Health Week, Rogers Dental is encouraging everyone to make their oral health a priority! Healthy habits start young, and taking care of your teeth and gums is important at every age.

Here are some simple tips for a healthy smile:

✅ Floss daily
✅ Choose water over sugary drinks
✅ Eat a healthy, balanced diet
