International Gold Medalist Choosing Perth to Serve Local Smiles
Perth, WA — In a move that underscores Perth’s rising status as a destination for global excellence, Dr Parsa Pirooz — a gold medalist of the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) and dual-degree graduate from Western Sydney and Tehran universities — has chosen Perth as the city where he will build his future and serve the local community.
Dr Pirooz has joined Perth Prime Dental, a 5-star clinic known for its precision, warmth, and long-standing reputation for exceptional care. His decision to settle in Perth reflects a growing trend: world-class professionals are increasingly drawn to the city’s unique lifestyle, opportunities, and community spirit.
“We could have gone anywhere,” says Dr Pirooz. “But Perth felt like home. It’s a city that values excellence without arrogance — where nature, culture, and kindness meet. That’s the kind of place we want to serve.”
Dr Pirooz’s academic journey is nothing short of extraordinary. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), one of the most prestigious institutions, renowned for producing generations of global scientific and medical talent. He later completed a Master of Public Health at Western Sydney University (WSU), further deepening his clinical expertise.
But it’s not just his intellect that sets him apart — his commitment to care, humility, and belief in giving back.
His wife, Dr Kim Siahzadeh, joins him at Perth Prime Dental, a gifted and compassionate dentist who graduated from the same universities as her husband, whose clinical finesse and warm demeanour have already made an impression on patients.
Clinic director Dr Matin, who leads Perth Prime Dental with a focus on innovation, excellence and empathy, says the couple’s arrival marks a new chapter for the practice.
“Parsa and Kim bring a rare combination of brilliance and heart,” says Dr Matin. “Their decision to join us is a testament to what Perth offers — not just as a city, but as a community. We’re honoured to have them.”
The couple plans to work with local schools and community groups to promote oral health awareness, especially among young students passionate about science.
“We want to give back to the city that welcomed us,” says Dr Kim. “Perth is a place where excellence is celebrated, and kindness is valued. That’s the kind of environment we want to nurture.”
Their arrival is more than a clinic milestone — it’s a reminder that Perth is no longer just a beautiful place to live. It’s a place where the best in the world come to grow, give, and belong.
