Hailey, our lovely oral health therapist here at Dental Quarters, answers one of our parents’ most frequently asked questions: When exactly should my child use adult toothpaste? 🤔

For 0–18 months, gently brush using only water and a small, soft-bristle toothbrush.

Then, from 18 months+, a pea-sized amount of child fluoride toothpaste is sufficient. Encourage them to spit it out instead of rinsing or swallowing, and always make sure they are supervised.

Finally, from 6 years old, they can use standard fluoride toothpaste ✨

Results vary between patients.

What a fantastic morning it was at the HBF Run! 🏃‍♀️💙

Our Dental Quarters team laced up their runners and hit the course alongside Dr Stephen’s sons, who absolutely smashed it on the day 👏

It was a great opportunity to get active, support local charities, and spend time together outside the clinic. Thanks to everyone who participated and cheered us on!
